Shinji Mikami and Bethesda officially announce ‘Zwei’ – FIRST image

Bethesda Softworks finally announced the in-development survival horror title they are publishing from the genre father figure Shinji Mikami this morning.

Codenamed ‘Zwei’, Mikami has expressed his interest in creating the ‘pure’ embodiment of Survival-Horror. “A true ‘survival horror’ game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,” says the president and creative director of the titles dev, Tango Gameworks.

“I’ve found my focus and once again I’m striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.”

Alongside the announcement Bethesda also saw fit to drop a teaser-ish image of some working assets and a picture of the guv’nor himself.
